Nigerian women and nudity

Appearing half naked is common among Nigerian women, both single and married. The worst hit is our campus girls. In institutions of higher learning, their mode of dressing is alarming. What is the Church and parents doing to curtail this pomposity among girls?
They are imitating the westerners, as the world have turned to a global village through Internet browsing.

Why have they chosen the path of deceitfulness? Is exposing one’s body the best? Instead of feeling ashamed of themselves, they are proud. Some years back, precisely early seventies and eighties, you dare not see a lady exposing her panties. But today, the reverse is the case. If you see any girl who put on jeans trousers either on a motorbike or on a transit bus, you will feel reluctant to cover her nakedness.

If you enter the same motor with them, you will swear not to do anything with these daughters of Jezebel. Despite that many of them are commercial sex workers, exposing both their breasts and pants is nothing to girls who call themselves modern. I was in a bus when one of these girls wanted to cover her exposed pants and some men inside the bus started booing her. Really, she was ashamed of herself. Show me a responsible man that will like to marry an irresponsible girl.

Have our women refused to know that dressing modestly is a pride to womanhood? Today, all women appear on trousers, while the scripture warns that a woman should not wear anything that patterns to a man. Even Christian girls are no exception. How can a pastor who claim to know God’s commandment allow such abomination? Don’t tell me that the Europeans who brought Christianity to Africa also put on trousers to church. Yes, but they are ignorant of the word of God. Any man of God who allows that is calling on the wrath of God upon his life. He and those concerned are going to Hell fire except if they repent.

Most of the reported cases of raping today are due to indecent dressing of our women folk. As a Christian, I am against such act but when someone dresses like a harlot what did you expect? Blames should go to parents who refused to teach moral education to their children. God once told me in the dream and said “The influx of women in the world have discouraged men from getting married and they are creating hardship for men.” Of a truth, it is only by the grace of God that a man can chose who to marry, as many of them out there are not ready for marriage. After getting tired of their illicit acts, you see them taking refuge in the House of God. That is the time they become choir mistress and prophetess. Shame! Parents should create time to teach their children at home on what to put on. It is time school authorities come out with dress codes before our children get out of hands.
